Hi! I'm Zoe
I am a fiber arts artist from Ankeny, IA specializing in embroidered stainless steel jewelry and decorative embroidery hoops. My work is about modernizing traditionally feminine art forms and using them for self-expression. I have spent most of my time at home since becoming disabled by chronic illness as a teenager. I view my work like looking through a window painted with needle and thread. Nature and geometry are prevalent themes in my work, which often features landscapes, skies, architecture, interior design, and abstract designs.
My day job is being a manager at a local escape room business. In my free time, I enjoy singing and writing music, ceramics, knitting, sewing, and cultivating an extensive houseplant collection.
